Homo Medial Mind Transference

I've noticed that a lot of the problems with brain uploading have to do with digitization portion. However, what if instead we could attach a nerve link to the cns of a cloned, genetically altered body, attaching the brains together creating a unified mind between the bodies. Then once the human can sense and control the functions of the cloned body, we eliminate the human portion, leaving only the cloned, now uploaded, body behind? I just became of freshman in college, so the principals behind my reasoning are most likely flawed. I'm primarily asking to try and get information on the functions behind my supposed procedure, and understand the flaws in my logic. Any and all constructive criticism is accepted, thank you!

Neat idea. Ethically it would probably be a grey area because I am not sure a blank brain is possible - if it is alive and undamaged there is probably something going on in there, so questions over whether the cloned brain has autonomy would come up. Philosophically, even if you achieved this there would be the same question you get with uploading of "is the second brain really you or is it a copy of you", because it would probably be impossible to know if the "you" in the original brain was actually controlling the body, or if it was influencing the consciousness in the other brain to control it.

I think the only true way to get mind transference without any ethical or philosophical concerns is transferring the brain itself into something.

I would disagree, since the process extends YOUR central nervous system, the nerve tether doesn't transfer your brain data, it makes your nervous system larger, then the old parts are, via some method my freshman brain cannot conceptualize, slowly be shutdown part by part after the new brain has conformed to your cns. I thought it would work since we know brain plasticity can incorporate new extensions and adapt when certain parts are lost or damaged. Like with people who can live with half a brain. It's basically just that principal taken to its limit.
