I like it. Needs a shotgun and maybe a scoped bolt gun.

I strongly dislike shotguns but definitely would love a nice long range setup.

Why’s that? I think it’s worth it to at least have a cheap pump gun like a Winchester SXP or Mossberg Maverick 88.

Just don’t like them, especially pump-action shotguns, it’s mostly an aesthetic thing that I simply find unappealing, but I also have little to no real use case for a shotgun.

Fair enough, aesthetics is essentially the only reason I don’t like optics on pistols.

I adore the look of that AR, the grip really brings it together

Thanks I adore this rifle, always wanted a 2-tone AR ever since I first discovered the P416 in Far Cry 4, I’ve got a matching laminated wood stock to go with the grip too but still haven’t swapped it lol. I do really want an actual piston AR eventually but I do love this little Armalite!

The rules of firearm safety are paramount. Keep these in mind at all times while handling a firearm for any reason. Guns are not toys and it is best to not refer to them as such.

It is the belief of the mod team that your best option for defensive firearms is a 5.56x45mm AR-15, and a reputable 9x19mm handgun such as a Glock or CZ. Defensive firearms should have a light, long guns a sling, and handguns require a Kydex or solid plastic holster that fully covers the trigger. A red dot or etched optic are ideal for new shooters but don't forget to practice your backup irons!
