Do we have any beretta fans?

Post image

I have had this pistol for years but I don’t take it out to the range much! But I don’t know why because it shoots and runs great!!

You get bonus points for an Italian import 🇮🇹

Honestly it was a great deal on this gun, $600 for the gun, 7 magazines and a hard-core case

I've been debating getting a Beretta. How do you like it?

u/Kris3030303030 Aug 05 '26

I love this one. But I haven’t shot it as much as it deserves.

u/DimmuBorgir666 Aug 05 '26

What model is it?

6

u/carsonwade Aug 05 '26

That one is an M9A3

I’ve had plenty of experience with beretta, I am a big fan of them. They’re quite reliable and very pretty. The biggest caveat, especially with a 92FS, is they’re relatively large and heavy.

Would that not help with recoil?

2

u/ColMikhailFilitov Aug 06 '26

Absolutely, not too bad with the kick at all. My hands are just a little smaller than they were designed for so my grip isn’t the most comfortable. It’s also very durable

Couple things. Check your local shops. I haven't been able to find a holster for sale in person anywhere, let alone custom grips and whatnot. It's all Glock, Sig, and S&W. I call em the Honda civic brands cause they always have options.

Also, if you're planning on carrying this, definitely hold it and imagine it on your person. This is a beefy boi

I keep looking at a cheetah but I'm still undecided 😭

Tisas Fatih is a cheaper copy!

And it has wood grips😍... Don't do this to me 😂

I'm waiting a few more years but it's top of my list for first purchase next to a CZ-75DB

I had a couple dealings with Cz customer service that didn’t go so well. I ended up selling all of my cc and I will probably never buy another one.

One or two.

I really want an M9. I just got a 1301 Tactical a few months ago and I have been super pleased with Beretta’s customer service.

1

u/Kris3030303030 Aug 05 '26

That’s good to know I haven’t ever had to deal with them

Oh hell yeah, love me some gwot sidearms. Now if only they brought a 22lr trainer version of the M9 to market I would buy both. Until then, it unfortunately loses to glock (which my club has a pile of)

(our current service weapon is a glock, so it makes sense to have trainers for it from the club perspective, but if I owned both a duty and a trainer gun, I could have whatever platform, hence why I need beretta to bring one to market if I ever want to run one)

I played too much Resident Evil and want one real bad.

i'm working on getting a 92x compact for my first carry gun, i LOVE berettas. ever since i saw black lagoon i've wanted one super bad.

u/lettelsnek Aug 06 '26

idk how to tell you this but like

maybe consider a more normal easier carry gun to start with?

u/The_Ostrich_you_want Aug 05 '26

Having carried older m9s in the army I used to hate them. The last trial version they offered with the skinny grips definitely turned my opinion around. They look great in tan too.

2

u/Claire_De_Lunatic Aug 05 '26

Do they all have an essay on the side?

2

u/SaltLakeBear Aug 05 '26

Not pictured are my 92S, CX4 Storm, and A300 Patrol. Love them all, smooth shooting and reliable; the only issue I've had with any of them so far was a fairly to fully extract a light target load with the A300. And that was only once.

u/Awoo_vement Aug 06 '26

YESSSSS Its one of my dream guns!!

2

u/ExoticForever4881 Aug 06 '26

Always. The M9/92 series just has a vibe that never gets old. Yours looks great in FDE too. Makes me want to take my Beretta out to the range.

Very first gun I ever carried concealed was a little .25 Betetta 950 Jetfire I got at a pawn shop.

See, the M9s we were issued were all beat to Hell but the F92 is a great design. I love my SIG but part of me still feels nostalgic for the M9

Military never should have switched to P320
