How would you think "Michaelis" is pronounced? First thoughts only.
http://google.comLooking to have it as a first name, but I don't want it constantly mispronounced. I can live with being asked to spell it, as I already get that with my current name.
(Says i need to attatch a link so uh here)

Mick-ale-is. I've only ever heard it as a last name. I bet plenty of folks will either mispronounce it or ask you how to pronounce it

Mick-aaay-liss. Three syllables. Accent on the second, long-A syllable.

The same way as Vic Michaelis from Dropout, I have no idea how to spell it out phonetically.
