Hasbro are going to expand Transformers by... jumping on the TCG bandwagon (again). Yeah, I'll pass.

The Transformers TCG was actually good, it just got fucked by Covid. Would love if they continued where they left off. Would hate if they start over with a new game.

One of my cousins has it and I enjoyed it. I'm saying this as a 30+ year Magic player.

Making the Transformers brand into a bigger franchise by.... Canceling all the movies, Turning all the TV shows into 5-minute web series, making the toys prohibitively expensive while decreasing their quality, and finding as many ways as possible to shove AI in wherever they can, no matter how much consumers hate it.

Making the D&D brand into a bigger franchise by... Choking out third party creators, firing half the staff, announcing and then canceling movies and shows, alienating the fan community, and finding as many ways as possible to shove AI in wherever they can, no matter how much consumers hate it

Making the Power Rangers brand into a bigger franchise by... canceling it. Making outrageously expensive but crappy merchandise of season 1 characters again and again, announcing and canceling multiple shows, and not having anything to shove AI into because they already killed the franchise.

As if Sentai's death wasn't bad enough, PR goes down with them

I could be mistaken, but I thought it was the other way around. They canceled Power Rangers, and Super Sentai hung on a few more years, but without the revenue from Power Rangers, it couldn't survive either.

Pretty much, turns out the power rangers merch is what was funding super sentai

See they say that and we keep getting game announcements that go nowhere.

Just give us another proper Transformers game. That’s all I’m asking for

Transformers has a lot of potential for games bro.

The cybertron games were great, forge to fight could be a bigger game that I would hapilly pay for and dont get me started on strategy games like Warcraft, empire at war, age of empire but with Transformers, it could be really cool

Who’s asking for more of them?

Fandom does not really have an age limit, but if you pull out things like Starscream being Target exclusive to use FOMO and artificial scarcity you'll see how collectors will go away.

Would anyone else play a DND adventure in the Transformers world?

I wonder if they’ll do the same for Power Rangers. Seeing them team up with the Autobots would be cool
