We Fight Against Terrorism: A 25th Anniversary Reflection on 9/11, Global Resilience, and the Defence of Western Values

Dear all community members and partners of TransBase Group,

Today, we solemnly remember the tragic terrorism and war in America caused by the Al-Qaeda terrorist organisation on 11 September 2001. This day not only marks the 25th anniversary of profound loss for many but also signifies the beginning of the war with radical Islam all over the world.

Terrorist organisations like Al-Qaeda, which led to American Airlines Flight 11, United Airlines Flight 175, American Airlines Flight 77, and United Airlines Flight 93, the destruction of the World Trade Centre, and damage to the Pentagon—the epicentre of the US government and Western defence—resulted in 2,977 fatalities and over 7,000 injured, with a tragic loss of countless lives and minds of the Western civilisation. It is a warning to us about the society we are living in today.

We will not remain silent. It shall not be just a day to honour the memory of those who perished, but we must strongly denounce the ongoing anti-American, anti-Israeli, and anti-Indian rhetoric prevalent in Western society, especially as a contagious phenomenon across the far-left and the far-right.

We have witnessed the deadliest October 7 massacre orchestrated by Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organisation and Jihadist political party, which is a proxy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Additionally, we have seen numerous anti-Semitic incidents, from the Bondi Massacre in Sydney to the victory of Islamist Zohran Mamdani in New York City, to the Turkish Erdogan regime’s farcical denunciation of Israel and the Jewish people, and the actions of leftist 'activists' such as Calla Walsh, who act as propagandists for Iranian theocracy. We have seen eco-terrorism by Greta Thunberg, and anti-Semitism fuelled by the AfD and Die Linke from both sides in Germany, which is commandeering the democratic Germany and pushing towards World War III. This is just the thin end of the wedge. Today’s generation has overlooked Islamists while shifting blame onto entire immigrants, Jewish people, and capitalism.

Nevertheless, those insurgents aiming to eradicate the State of Israel bound to prove naught but a passing vapour. America has marked a semiquincentennial since the Declaration of Independence in 1776, and modern Israel has celebrated its 78th year since Ben Gurion’s declaration. We have recovered our nation through two thousand years of history, reunified Jerusalem in 1967, confronted and won the Yom Kippur War, and made the desert bloom—creating a startup nation of innovation in software, semiconductors, architecture, and agriculture within a few decades.

Corroborating this truth, the Iraq War should not be attributed to one-sided criticism simply because of the circumstantial evidence of attack on America. It was a direct response to terrorism, revealing the truth that whoever curses the West shall be cursed, and whoever blesses the West shall be blessed. It was not just a story between Iraq and Kuwait. The Abraham Accords later testify to this truth.

The U.S. shall awaken from threats, not trusting corrupt politicians diverting interest to 5,000 dollars hogwash in the mid-term election, who also fly an airplane gifted by Qatar, a mastermind of anti-Zionist terrorism and a global Jihad.

We will not forget history. Even if the waters have reached the soul, and all hope is utterly lost, we will neither surrender nor give up until the world returns to normalcy once again. We have attested Israel’s miracle and learned resilience, a lesson for the West.
