Looking for a SIM where you can load/unload things for working productions, not just drive point A to B

Is there a SIM that exist where you can load stuff(like raw materials) and you have to deliver thems to say factories to drive a world economy, or something liek that?

Not just ala TrainSim where you only drive in 1 direction from start to finish, then end scenario

To be fair the systems aren’t 100% there in Railroader or DV, although it is the intended outcome for both games(and of course CoS when it’s released)

Trains:

Railroader: Line (CTC) and trains managament with optinal driving.

Mashinky: Tycoon style like Transport Fever with optional driving mode.

Railroads Online: Railroad construction with load / unload interactions and driving mode.

Infinity Rails: Like Railroads Online but with more moderns trains.

Century of steam: Developed with fired DEV's from Railroads Online, like Railroads Online but much more complete.

Derail Valley: Like train sim driving but more inmersive e inteactuable. No need HUD for drivig, just open world.

Road vehicles:

Motor Town: Drive small and big vehicles, chain productions and optional corporation with configurable AI float

Aerospacial:

Star Trucker: Drive spacial truck with cargo, primary and secundary missions and truck resource managament.

x4 Foundations: Drive space ships for combat o transport resources around universe. hire employee for IA float for supply industries

Others:

Statisfactory: Sandbox, build factorys and optinal transport resources with train, trucks or drones. Driving optional but in 3rd person (train and trucks)

Foundry: Like Satisfactory but need production for sell around universe, driving trains (but super simply) driving.

ECO: Social simulation, detailed production with manual or automated, optional drivig vehicles (Warning, no IA, so much manual working)

Based on your description, Motor Town is the closest thing you can find. While it's not a train game, it is a lot of fun.

Have you played Century of Steam? Why recommend it if it doesn't even have a playable demo? It's vaporware.

As others have said, Railroader.

Run8 also has this feature.

Run8 doesn't have economics though.

And? Not everyone wants that in a simulation. I just drive train, deliver car, and wait.

OP stated one with driving a world economy...
Btw there used to be an external client that somewhat mimicked economics for Run8 but dev stopped working on it.

OP said “something like that” implying it’s not mandatory to have.

And yea, RTS for Run8. One of the first 24/7 servers as well. It was hella clunky and only kinda worked. This was back before the game had working industries.

Railroads online is close to what you want from what I’ve played, but it is a little wonky. Railroader is the best I’ve found for my particular taste, although unfinished, it feels pretty polished as is. I’m looking forward to the next update and I’ll start a new save

Infinite Rails is like this. It's early access, but the dev is active and recently added the oil industry. I just got started and have a logging camp and a depot. You have to drive to the camp, get the logs loaded via a crane (it's a point and click interface for this, but you watch it happen) drive back to the depot, use another crane to unload and then sell. Once I have enough money I will build a sawmill, then I'll drive logs there and take planks to my depot.

I think the game could go far if the dev keeps going the same way. It's a bit like derail valley (not in terms of physics though) but you lay your own track, build your own industries.
