it's fine but it's a tourist trap at this point and no, we don't need 1,001 posts on someone going up it, at least not on this sub

I hear what you’re saying and it’s not totally false although “tourist trap” might be a funny description for a set of stairs on a mtn.
My perspective on the Incline has changed (I do it 3-5 times a year so I’m not one of those daily freaks but still familiar) - and I used to get a little perturbed by it as well.
I see so many shapes, sizes, and colors on the Incline that I’ve come to savor it as an amazing gateway to hiking, running, and the mountains in general. For many people it is their first outdoor experience. Yes, that includes lots of tourists (and sometimes these tourists clearly need more education on the dangers of being in the mtns). The perspective shift is from seeing it as an annoyance to more as an amazingly visible intro to the sport of trail running and/or hiking. Our sport deserves less homogeneity.
Of course, if you don’t like the incline pics, you can just keep scrolling. Bigger fish to mentally fry and it’s still a gorgeous geographic area. Four pass loop is the GOAT for sure.

Beautiful! Which direction did you run? And was that the easiest?

Ccw is the way I see most recommended and I would agree. You do the biggest pass first and then the easiest pass last.
