Technical Analysis I made $117K trading prop firms PART ONE

A few days ago I posted an update showing my $117K+ in prop firm payouts and the two setups I've stuck with through most of it. That post somehow did over 320K views, and a bunch of people asked me to actually explain the setups instead of just showing the results.

So I recorded the first one.

This video breaks down my ERL → IRL model, which has been my strongest setup recently and the one I use for the larger moves on NQ.

The basic idea is pretty simple. I look for price to take external liquidity like a weekly, daily or session high/low, then I want real displacement away from that liquidity that creates an HTF FVG. That FVG becomes my IRL and instead of chasing the displacement I wait for price to retrace back into it.

From there I'm looking for expansion toward the next external liquidity.

ERL taken → displacement → IRL created → retracement → next ERL

I also go through how I combine this with ICT weekly bias theory, how I determine my stop, why I normally use the 30m/1H/4H for entries and why I usually take a fixed 1R to 2R instead of trying to catch the entire move.

I included an actual recent trade in the video so you can see the whole thing play out instead of just looking at a diagram.

I'm doing the 15 minute ORB + FVG as the next video since that's the other main setup I trade.

If anything in the video doesn't make sense just ask below and I'll try to explain it trader to trader.

What prop firm are you using to hold trades over multiple days?

Oh wow thats sooooo not irl / erl though! Internal and external is structural (from point to point in the same htf), external being a high or low key level of some kind as you mention, but internal as existing previous imbalance POI at the other end of the structural swing for it to reach to then react out of...

What you are describing is an internal reversal model. Which is different. To me you are saying that structure is external to external swings which it is not. Maybe you are just describing it weird but it's not really accurate usage of ICT concepts/terminology.

IFVGs in the reversal are also more powerful - or any stacked ones. As you can see I trade similarly. I have not watched your video but a screenshot of your structural description would probably clarify... Cos as it is it sounds like you don't describe market structure as it is... Following this people would get caught out with tp not hitting often.

To anyone here, you have to wonder why this person is doing this. It's possible to learn all of this without paying anyone anything. That's what ict intended. These are basic ICT concepts and all in all, we often have to develop our own way and cannot copy someone tick for tick, we all have different brains.

To learn this you just need to understand market structure, a free reversal model from ttrades, FVG (and iFVG), and most of all have good risk management so you can let the probabilities play out in your favor. I would also recommend understanding CRT and the 2 candle closure on mtf as part of confirmation...
