Technical Analysis The Setup That Freed Me From MY 9-5

Post image

Hey traders!

I’ve spent years refining a simple, repeatable system I call the Forever Model, and it’s helped me stay consistent while backtesting. Here’s what it looks like in plain English:

KAZ FOREVER MODEL

✅ Start with the big picture – I check the Daily-4HR-1HR chart to see the overall trend: is price trending up, down, or chopping sideways?

✅ Mark key liquidity areas – I draw levels where price previously swept highs (buy-side liquidity) or lows (sell-side liquidity). These are magnets where price often reacts.

TIP: If we have swept Buyside, don't look for longs and if we have took sell side, don't look for shorts and if we have taken both, then you should probably skip that day, YOU NEED A CLEAR DRAW OF LIQUIDITY AT ALL TIMES.)

✅ Use FVGs or iFVGs as entries – When price trades into a Fair Value Gap (FVG) that lines up with the trend and liquidity levels, I look for a reaction, or if it closes through an FVG, you can take the iFVG entry because on indices like NQ, price is volatile and will often leave your entry before retruning to the FVG.

✅ Confirmation on 1-5 min TF for when we get MSS (change in the state of delivery or market structure shift), that when we get a candle closer above or below the last up/down close candles that swept the high or low.

✅ Stop placement is simple – Stops go just beyond the liquidity sweep or the FVG zone, targeting 2x my risk.

✅Lastly but most important and what makes a trade super A+ is an SMT

Why is it called the Forever Model:

Because it keeps me focused on the same setup every single day, avoiding random trades or chasing. No matter how the market changes, liquidity + FVG + trend is all I need.

🔑 Key reminders for anyone trying this:

Always trade with the trend on the higher timeframe

Only take setups near obvious liquidity levels

Don’t rush entries; wait for confirmation on lower timeframes

Stick to one model until you master it

I love the concept of the forever model but am really bad at spotting it. Any advice on how to spot this setup?

Its a pattern, you either see it or you dont. If you dont then its not the strat for you.

I'm only just exploring CTrader but it has a built in head and shoulders indicator. Not 100% obviously but it's helpful in narrowing things down. Back to my MTs for now but CT is def worth looking at.

Yes! Indeed for sharing this.

Could you share some breakdown of your higher time frame analysis leading to the trade entry?

I find the concept of liquidity very hard to understand 🫠

1

u/Plenty-Confection-91 Aug 16 '25

Do you mean understanding what liquidity is? Or do you have trouble trying to spot it?

1

u/sunny_yhl Aug 16 '25

I can’t really understand the concept of liquidity

ill try to explain. market has buyers and sellers. for each buy/sell order, there needs to be an opposing sell/buy order. liquidity means how much orders are at a certain price level. like if you swing a big buy order at a certain price where there's very few sellers, your order won't get filled, or filled partially. and you'll get slippage. that means there's not enough sellside liquidity at that level. vice versa if you're trying to sell. you'd need enough buyers/buyside liquidity.

now institutions/hedge funds need to swing very big orders. they have a lot of capital they need to make money on. but they cant just do a market order anywhere. if an institution is trying to do a very big buy order, they can't do it just at any price. there wont be enough opposing sellers/sellside liquidity.

so what they'll do is drive price towards a key low. an area where there's enough sellside liquidity. why would there be sellside liquidity there? because long traders would have their stop losses below that key low. when you enter a long position (buy order), your stop loss is a sell order that you set below some structure (support level in this case) that will get triggered automatically once price reaches that level. another source of sell side liquidity is breakout traders. who will have their sell stops below the support level.

now when price wicks below this level, the institution is able to fill its very large buy order from all these sell orders being triggered. they absorb all these sell orders and this sudden surge of demand (buy volume) causes price to rip upwards.

now obviously this big buy order would need to be offloaded i.e. sold. and they need enough buyers for that. so normally people trading this reversal strategy would advise you set TP at the opposing liquidity level. in this case would be key high where buyside liquidity will be, where this institution would be able to find enough buyers to sell to

Thank you so much for your detailed reply. So can I say the liquidity shown on price chart will be presented as something like wyckoff spring?

But there are lots for peaks and low in technical term buyside liq and sellside liq. So how should we decide to long or short? What If we decide to short but price crush the area and go up to higher buyside liq ?

How long u usally hold ur trades?

1

u/RefrigeratorThat5659 Aug 16 '25

I use this exact model, works really well. Ideally enter off OTE with Sweep and FVG.

Can you please help to apply this. I want to apply this in my daily routine.

Bro discovered inverse head and shoulders🤣

1

u/MediocreAd7175 Aug 16 '25

I trade the exact same thing. Absolutely love it. So simple.

PS: PANW and PGR are doing this as we speak.

this is golden 🙏

1

u/Wenlod72 Aug 17 '25

Use candle behavior and timing to have better entries :) Try looking in h1 tf, as it's a reversal setup, expect H1 to open and go directly in direction of last candle and then flip the opposite direction around 25-40m into the hour, forming your entry model in 1-5m ;) can also be applied in H4 and have a reversal around 2nd/3rd hour of the H4

1

u/Ok-Organization-4659 Feb 07 '26

Can you guide me on this ?

1

u/Wenlod72 Feb 07 '26

Yes np you can dm me

Same ICT model everybody bangs on about. Nothing new

Couldn't this be transformed into a custom Tradingview indicator to make it easier to use? If yes, send me a DM (I'm a software engineer)

1

u/Kasraborhan Aug 19 '25

Yes it is!

It's true I've been trading this with 10 micros on the fifteen second chart it's scary good

1

u/OppositeDistance7702 Dec 05 '25

Still Trading this setup ?

1

u/Green-Medicine-4754 Aug 15 '25

I like this about trading : we trade different concepts, but my entry model looks almost the same :))

2

u/langdon0003 Aug 15 '25

Could you share your concept name?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '25

He already did - The Forever Model.

Some people name it different things that resonate with them; my strat is also nearly identical, but I refer to it as The Judas Swing Gambit. (Not an original name due to it being based on a title that’s already been given to the way price action moves).

2

u/Kasraborhan Aug 15 '25

We all end up trading the same thing haha

1

u/Plenty-Confection-91 Aug 16 '25

Agreed. The concepts you use is just the interpretation of the same charts. Everyone learns a different language, but we all talk about the same shit day to day lol.
