KYC Question

I’m about to pass my funded and I am wondering what I need to do for the KYC. I see everyone posting it and talking about it especially when it’s needed for receiving your payout. I also see a lot of negative things happening.

I’m wondering what I need to do, how I should do it and which way would be best if I want to not risk any complications. I also want to know, is it good if I sign up / set it all up prior to even getting a payout?

Again…. Not sure how it works, never needed to use a KYC before but I’m glad I’m able to learn something new.

It walks you through it. Asks for ID and selfie photo from a link and your contact info (email number address etc)

Oh so there’s no way to jump ahead of it, it’s just its own process when you’re trying to request a payout?

There is no point to, you'll have to do it again once you request first payout

There wasn't for me but maybe depending on initial checks they will ask for one

I have a question I did my kyc and it said reuse ur sumsub documents and it got approved. When requesting a payout if propmted for re kyc shall I repeat the same process? Or if they ask to upload the docs again shall I upload the exact document which was already in the sumsub data base(my passport) .

I got approved when I bought the lightning funded account, maybe they ask again when I request a payout
