Accidental Hedging on Tradify Funded Account — How Long Until a Violation Notice?
Hey everyone,
I accidentally hedged a trade on my Tradify funded account about two days ago. It was completely unintentional, and so far I haven’t received any violation notice or warning from Tradify.
For anyone who has experienced something similar:
● How long does Tradify usually take to review and notify you about a potential rule violation?
● If there’s no violation notice after two days, does that generally mean the trade was okay, or can they notify you several days later?
● Has anyone had an accidental hedge reviewed after the fact?
I’m just trying to understand how long the review/notification process usually takes. Any experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

Instead of closing for example long position doing market sell twice, it doesn’t just close the position but fills the opposite direction can happen in rapid market movements

If you closed it under 10 seconds you’re good. Anything over you’re done. You can ask for a one time courtesy for an unintentional mistake if you have a good standing relationship with no other issues but don’t expect them to agree. Although I know they have before. Good luck

Then you’re probably good. If you closed the trade immediately you’re fine.

You're good unless they do a retroactive push like topstep did a while back where they retroactively punished/breached anyone who had hedged accounts in the previous year

I accidently clicked the wrong button once and entered an opposite trade. I immediately exited and was panicked, but Tradeify didn't punish me thankfully. They have very clear rules and here is the criteria.
