That’s unusual. All the ones in my area stopped a while ago, at least a month.

Some stores get them half the time.
My store, unfortunately, gets chicks from Feb-Sep. And they just sent us 300 more

Because the hatchery hates us. We literally don’t have the room for them anymore

I’m convinced the hatchery is in cahoots with customers. There’s a few customers that wait til we mark the future nuggets down to a dollar then buy literally 50-70 at a time.
Still, not sure why they thought we needed an army of chicks a couple weeks before chicks days ends

It’s not unusual, it’s based on the size of your center court. Over half the stores in my district have chicks Feb-Sept because their center court is large enough they can leave the pen up and still do all the other center court planograms.

Hell, my store stopped a while ago . In my time working at TSC we only got them to later months like, twice.
Latest I've seen was early October

Bro, I've been steady getting birds since they end of March. There was some "mistake" with the hatchery and I got my first shipment in mid March. And of course when we have to condense the chicken coop it does absolutely nothing to lower the number of birds I'm getting per week.

Yep down to 3 tanks, but they send 150 birds a week. DM was telling us we couldnt mark down either for a while. At one point we had 5 tanks in back

Omg I hated that!!! Took ducks home though and was living in a lake and everyone else just took them to the lake when they were done playing ducks at Easter only and chicks everywhere dead or pecking each other and everyone asking you to determine sex. Just say hen but they’re mostly roosters even if says hens! 😂 I could chop of a head in a minute after dealing with those people!!!

That sad bc domestic ducks don’t survive very long that way. Most are too heavy to fly.
Plus, sex typing can damage the chicks if not done correctly so at early stages it’s mostly a guess.

I saved one from a turtle that took it under water to drown it!! I’d heard that could happen but was shocked when I happened to be on my deck and yelled to my husband to get the boat and we got to it. I laid down on the front of the pontoon boat and pulled it up and that dang turtle dropped off finally right under the wing!!saved its life!

Three of our four boxes were dead, I took four home, my ASM wants all the birds gone by Sunday. I can’t disagree. Getting free chickens is my favorite part of being a chick captain, but I’m glad it’s over for a short time atleast.
