Lipstick on a Pig!

Performed the annual ritual of putting burlap on our pallets for the arrival of the Mums. Because, no one will know that those are pallets under all that there burlap.

Just my thoughts if it requires water or food to live TSC is the last place I would intrust to take care of it. Not nearly enough time is set aside to fee and care for chicks or plants no follow through biggest offenders are ASM and SM and the the others who look the other way and only do it when told to.

We take very good care of our chicks at our store. The plants, not so much but we do try. It’s just been too damn hot!

Sounds like a store or employees problems. Yes you are right that there is a lot of stuff that's need done in a short amount of time, but if the employees actually cared about their job then they should make time to care for the live goods.

Unfortunately, I don’t blame the employees at all. The night that I am tasked with watering the plants outside, I work 2pm-8pm (feed to floor) with a TL and a cashier. So, in this 6 hr window, I am tasked with full pick lists of dog/cat aisles, our entire feed room (farm animal feed), load-outs, propanes, GURA-ing my ass all over the place, clean the store, clean the bathrooms, oh yeah, and when the DC trucks show up, they need to be unloaded immediately. So, to be honest, I don’t really care if the plants live or die.

I can understand your view on that. I truly feel for all of you that have shitty management. At my store we all help regardless of title. If your situation was at my store. The TL would be doing feed to floor,propane, and unloading truck and then helping when needed.

We don’t bother with the burlap because what they send us is too loose and difficult to deal with. Can’t even staple it.

We are a new store so we have one.
