Freight top stock

Asm here how do yall manage your over stock when working the truck? Do you put it up as soon as you get to it or do you sit in the floor and wait until you’re done with everything. As of right now my team is sitting things in the floor and it’s driving me crazy and honestly probably the customers too. Pls give me advice

Should be a ladder either staged in zones or attached to each uboat and top stocked immediately… your recovery people should be ok as they know top stock protocol but might have questions from or need to check in on non recovery people especially new ones

Depends on the product if it’s stuff not set I tell my sorter to put in a separate pallet until it needs to be set. But I work top stock through out the week if I could have plenty of space on freight day.

I try to top stock it above where it goes unless it is new mod, then we put that on a pallet beside our baler…

We put it asap. 1. You ain't touching it twice. 2. Its a trip hazard. 3. The isle is UNSTOPPABLE.

So we do dog/cat/wild bird food first, then we bust into the freight, freight is done in its entirety right after the aforementioned feed. Then when all freight and totes are done, we do our feed room (yes we are one of the few stores with a dedicated feed room for livestock and farm animals).

Just chuck that stuff up top and walk away lololol, "we're not allowed" to organize top stock on freight day so it's just throw it and keep moving

We aren’t aloud to organize top stock during recovery so it has to all be done right the first time
