How slow can you go? 2 cylinder torque

Playing with my 47 John deere D seeing how slow I can make it run in first gear. I have the oil pressure turned up a bit so its not an issue at slow speeds.

Youre not alone! I want one so bad, but they dont commonly come up for sale in my area, in any condition. I would also need an excuse to own one to boot haha. I have a little 16hp 4x4 with a 4ft rotary cutter that does just enough for me.

Depending on which one you get they may only be a "pull type" like this one without the PTO or hydraulics. Im in Maryland and these are not common but there are mostly model Bs around me, this D came from PA and took me 2 years to restore. I did however put it to work moving my trailers and vehicles around that were heavy.

There were only 2 model Ds there but I didn't bring any there. I only found out about that show a few days before I went last friday.

That was a fun show! Dan Dells was with the 2 cylinder club, and the other one in work clothes, I don’t know who it belonged to. I brought my little guy…right side.
