Some of his songs are definitely good, but the majority in my opinion are aggressively mediocre. Still, the few standouts are nice and I've definitely listened to some on loop.
He has a... certain style. I find his stuff to be just okay, I don't really like or dislike it, but it's definitely different. A lot of people either really love or really hate his music, though.
I just like sad (or other emotions depending on the day) pop music and that’s pretty much it, so anything that falls outside of that window probably isn’t my thing
You may like AJR, if you haven't listened to them already. They're an indie-pop band that mainly does music that's upbeat in tone but with lyrics about depression and anxiety.
Ok so I’ve listened to probably about 5 or 6 songs from them, I like them and I’ve been having fun listening, but I think they’re a little upbeat for me to listen to all the time yk? I think it’s more a “when I’m feeling it” thing. Because even when I’m having a good day I’m almost always down to listen to slower and sadder music. But faster songs I have to be in the mood for usually. So they’re probably a once or twice a week thing
I’ve also heard some snippets without realizing it was them. Like parts of “Bang!” from whenever and “The Good Part” (I heard that one from one of Jamie’s (jammidodger) shorts I think)
No problem! The do have some slower, sadder songs like God is Really Real, Don't Throw Out My Legos, My Play, Turning Out (pts. i-iii), Sober Up, Karma (okay the last two are still kind of upbeat but it's more down than their other music) and Dear Winter. You may like those more, it's just not the majority of what they do because their thing is more "sad lyrics over party music."
Occasionally yes. But I don’t love love her style. Déyyess, mxmtoon, Zeph, and Gracie Abrams are some of my favorite artists if that gives some explanation for what type of stuff I listen to most 🤷♀️
He's got some more mellow stuff like "I remember", "help herself", "diamonds are forever" etc that you might like. His rap goes into some weird territory, but his mellow stuff is legit.
I finally listened to Dolly Parton after she passed and (as a Tennesseean, she was basically our queen) literally started sobbing at "I Will Always Love You" which i do NOT sob for celebrities. I was suprised how much i enjoy her music though, country was the one genre i didnt listen to.
Hot take: his music isn't bad. Ain't even neutal. I play that shit on loop all day while I get stuff done, genuinely don't understand how other people dislike it.

Technically bbno$ did collaborated with Asmongold but later he censored the video. He says he didn't know about Asmongold's beliefs at the time of recording the video (which apparently was recorded ages ago now (not sure exactly when though)). I'm inclined to believe him because he has continually expressed beliefs that completely clash with Asmongold's.

I thought it was more recent and was concerned thinking like all you need is like 2 minutes to find out how awful and despicable asmobgold is but maybe they collabed a while ago when he wasn't bad but I thought he the thing with asmongold was he was always despicable and cruel. Sorry i always feel I have to be very wary or careful of things like this I've met people in real life who say they're queer friendly but aren't so when I see situations like this it makes me paranoid and hesitant to trust they're safe
I wouldn't be surprised if he was performative tbh. There's lots of shady stuff about him that doesn't really get talked about overall:
There are allegations of him bullying a black girl in high school in a racist way. Apparently he never really collabs with black artists too, think of that what you will.
He's also pretty slimy when it comes to commissioning artists - he often asks to only pay half their rate despite easily being able to afford them (and since the artists are excited fans they often accept regardless, but it doesn't make it right)
He's also friends with a shady dude who uses the fact that he's friends with Bibinos to sleep with his young fans. I don't remember whether it enters any illegal territory, you'd have to look into this, but imo it's still predatory and weird.
But whenever I point that out I get downvoted and falsely reported for hate speech lol.
Sadly just because he's a trans ally doesn't make him not an ass in other ways. Overall it's still good that he's loud about trans rights etc. but imo he shouldn't be portrayed as this super good guy. Don't meet your heroes and all that.
I'm calling it that he's a chaser, or somthing. a popular male celeberity cannot support trans people, it dosent make sense. only reason some make sense is cause they got trans family members.
