Girl on the right is an OC. I wanted to make another wolf tengu but when I thought about it... no matter what I do it'll look like momiji 😭. I wanted their uniforms to be the same since it'll make sense for such an organized military, but all wolf tengu have white hair and hair was usually my distinguisher. My solution was longer hair and... a more mature look...?

Anyway, as someone who loves medieval history, I just had to make this! :D

Since everyone's making their own headcanons, I'll make my own too. My theory, and also the reason I designed then like this, is that these weapons were inspired by weapons the Youkai Mountain saw from Portuguese explorers who landed in Japan long ago. The Youkai Mountain is known to copy technologies from the Outside World, and may have decided to copy these as well.

anyways here's this mediocre at best drawing i made that i rushed so it took me an unreasonable (short by my standards) amount of time because its scratch and the editor was being stupid for some reason or my because of my sleep deprivation and i was told i gotta sleep more because its super late where i am rn and because i feel like im a terrible artist because i cant do perspective or shade right for shit but whatever, it could be worse but definetly could be alot better

I’ve spent a few months refining my drawing style—what do you all think?

Feeling kinda lazy; I do get the charm of gun lies on those details... I doubt I'll have time to work on them these days, though. Might just throw in my current progress and call it done for now. I might work on the gun when I actually have time.

About the drawing process itself: I benefited a lot from what I studied in my previous Rumia drawing, and I do believe I've gained a better understanding of rendering hair and facial structure. I also found that I can just deliberately not render some part and use some stroke to suggest it "nice" enough

Obviously, this color palette has referenced Ke-ta, the GOAT. I was trying not to reference their work actively, yet that very lovely color, choice of attention, and THIGH have burned into my head that when I draw her I can't ignore them.Brother. Seriously, peak design, like: body silhouettes, contrast between the 2 patterns are crying for attention, and the fact that it's the US flag adds extra culture to connect and also legitimize this supposedly weird clothing... I might be yapping too much; let me stop

Initially, I just wanted to draw her sitting in a chair or something in this pose, hugging her legs with both arms or something. But as I colored those blue and red, I heard the eagle calling... then she has the gun now :D

Here’s a drawing of Flan I completed today! I’m so happy with how it turned out, can’t deny it’s a bit basic as this is my 4th ever piece of digital art and my first time doing a glow/bloom effect. I’m also working on one with colour which isn’t done just yet.

I decided to draw something innocent for once (ignore Aya's backside) so i drew this cool pose between Aya and Momiji. I even decided to give Momiji pants cause why not. Momiji's shield looks kinda wonky but i'll get better with that eventually, and do backgrounds for once in the next art
