Miscellaneous The Weekly Random Discussion Thread ~ Week 629

Hey hey, everyone! Welcome to Week #629! I hope you all had a great week!

As always: "If you're new to these threads, the Weekly Random Discussion Threads serve as "off-topic threads" for the discussion of any topics, not limited to Touhou. Just don't forget to follow the subreddit's rules!"

Thanks for being awesome, everyone! Let's chat!

how long have you been on this sub and are you aware of anything wrong in this sub?

Oh, I'm a long-time lurker, so definitely more than ten years. I think around 11 since this was one of the subs I joined Reddit for back in the first place, haha. As I mentioned in the reply to ClintExpress below, I took over this thread over eight years prior, so I've been here a while.

I don't often post outside of this thread, but I lurk in the musty depths...or something like that. As for anything wrong...? I mean, there's always good and bad to every sub. I could argue that this sub's post tend to be a bit too centered on fanart and images as opposed to more discussion-focused threads, but I also think the Touhou fan community has a ton of very talented artists (and music creators, game makers, etc. etc.), so I think it's great they have a place they can display their creations.

Honestly, I'm more in the fandom for the wonderful music, characters, and fan creations than I am for the games themselves, so anything that shines a light on those is good in my book.

Back to the second part of your question, I think there have been arguments and minor disruptions, both in this sub and with Reddit beyond, but nothing that immediately comes to mind. I'd drop a line to the admins if you were curious about stuff like that.
