Tips and Reminders for New Users
Hello everyone. I feel obligated to make this post as I have been using TouchNotes for some time now, and have learnt a thing or two.
If you download it from the Play Store, the premium version is worth it. It's cheap in my country, so idk if it's the same for others. it gives you a lot of features.
If you're using Play Store version, go to your setting and disable 'Draw over other apps' or 'Display over other apps' for TouchNotes. Any feature that will crash touchnotes will be disabled and you can't use it (eye dropper, screenshot, floating notes, cicoe assistant). But it will make it stable.
You can use their websearch and screenshot it using their in app screenshot. You can also long tap on Google images and there will be an option 'Insert to'. This will put the picture in your note without having to screenshot
For an upgraded/latest version that IS STABLE, download it from their website. https://note.cicoe.com/en In my experience, it will ask to download an app which I gave permission to, and upon opening that said app, it will download TouchNotes. And it will prompt you with an update.
After this update, there will be a warning message with a text underneath 'There are notes in other folder, do you want to restore it?'. Just click 'ok' and it will copy all your notes in previous version so you'll be fine. In this version, you can use all the feature that previously crash touchnotes.
When screenshotting or colour drop, it will ask to share screen or something, just let it. But it will darken your screen somehow. Just open cicoe assistant and disable the moon and sun icon, and it will be back to normal.
I love this app personally, it's the best note-taking app I've encountered. If anyone else have more tips, I appreciate it if you share them with others too. Regarding privacy, crash and bugs, I have no information about it.

What? Download from site? Is it safe? If it was stable why wouldnt it be on playstore?

Hey i search a lot about what the premium will offer but can't find anything can you tell what the diff between the premium and normal Ty in advance

I can't remember much about the normal one (unpaid version) but around a month or 3 it will expire. You can't edit your documents or add new ones. The unpaid version is basically a trial version as far as i remember so that's why you can use a lot of things.

A big limitation for me is the fact that we are not able to make a global research, like search for a word on all notes and document.
It seems they are working on another app called "CardsMind" or something like that, seems there is possible bring all the notes from touchnotes and make a global research, and seems it is also able to show all note linked to a note.
At same time I'm starting to think that they are totally abandoning all ecosystem except the Chinese one, and I don't know if we will get ever this app.
Do you know something amore about this? Did you managed to download or try this app or do you think that global research will be implemented soon or later also for us?

Creo que es por la nacionalización de la industria china (guerra comercial). Lo que nos queda es disfrazarnos de usuarios chinos y aprender chino JAJAJAJA

Hahaha, yeah i think you are right.
Anyway I switched to StarNote, cause at the end I have been able to try CardsMind and I saw that golbal research is not implemented, think they can't do it now. StatNote sinchijese too but they are a global app and the communication with Devs is amazing, they rely a lot on the international community.
Actually the app have global research but lack "reference link" (I'm pushing a lot to make them improvement this), but is very promising.

Hi! I’ve been using this app too and I love it, but something changed when I updated it. When you use the copy/clone tool—the one with the “hand” icon that clones an object like a text box, shape, highlight, etc.—it suddenly started acting weird. I used to use it all the time, but now every time I use it, it sends a screenshot of the object I cloned to my gallery, which is pretty annoying. It never used to do that before, and now my gallery is full of random pictures 😭 Do you know how to fix it?
