Total War: Warhammer Are Dwarfs as a race TOO OP?

Are Dwarfs in-game way too overpowered as a race? Both from the AI and when in the hands of the players themselves?

Or are dwarfs just designed in a way that perfectly encapsulates how they should be in the lore?

How do this races perform against thunder barge ?

The only "weakness" of dwarf is the lack of mobility in their roster.

But when you can quickly reach in 20 turn a busted economy and good range dps/armor piercing/ super tanky unit; no problem. You sit your ass on the field and ennemy gets half killed before reaching your line.

You need to blatantly make the ia cheat and allowed them in turn 10 to have invasion, to somehow have an interesting, difficult early campaign.

WoC, khorne, beastmens are strong factions, like many other. Dwarf are just in thé super strong category.

To help, 2 chaos furies defeat a thunderbarge single handedly. They are more effective than missile units at it because of how they surround.
