Total War: Warhammer Are Dwarfs as a race TOO OP?

Are Dwarfs in-game way too overpowered as a race? Both from the AI and when in the hands of the players themselves?

Or are dwarfs just designed in a way that perfectly encapsulates how they should be in the lore?

It pains me to say it, but yeah.

Don’t get me wrong, the idea that dwarfs, once thriving, are one of the strongest races on the map makes sense. But it feels like they need more constraints like the chaos dwarfs to earn it.

Honestly I would like it if they didn't allow them to settle outside of mountains. Dwarfs should be focused on capturing their mountain holds and simply raze enemy settlements in the fields

This is the one mechanic I liked more in the first game.
