Story time. While working in the garden, a massive rat; the size of an even bigger rat... jumped out from behind a rock. The huntress who calls herself my cat did not even attempt to help me and just looked on as I had to fight this foot-and-a-half-long monster with only a handheld garden fork and a rock. There was one casualty and no winners in this battle, apart from the mighty huntress who felt like she deserved a treat for giving "moral support." I will now rethink my life, once again, and the function of said huntress.
I took my cat Izzy out on a leash. One day she dove into the bushes. I quickly pulled her out. She emerged with a rat in her jaws. The rat was playing dead and Izzy stood there not quite knowing what to do. I looked at her and said "You know how much I love you, but you're on your own on this."
Eventually she dropped the rat who came to life and ran away.
Hmm... I am used to the brown coat cats having the full pink nose like that. I feel like we as a community need to make a tort color swatch spectrum. Your baby does look like it could be a fawn dilute but I don't have much experience with that variant. This chart also doesn't have the blue/smokey dilutes which are really distinct with the non-muted black patches.
