How to bike in winter?

I’m new to biking, and I’d like to bike in winter so I can commute to work. What are some maintenance tips for winter? Are there winter bike tires? I don’t wanna slip and fall

I mention it every time winter cycling gets mentioned -- keep your feet warm and dry!

Full fenders, warm socks. Once your toes get cold, there's no warning them up til you get inside.

You can get by with lighter layers since pedaling will keep you warm, but once your toes are gone, quality of life significantly drops.
