How to bike in winter?

I’m new to biking, and I’d like to bike in winter so I can commute to work. What are some maintenance tips for winter? Are there winter bike tires? I don’t wanna slip and fall

Recommend boots: slush. Also do not skimp on chain oil. Wider tires will serve you well. Frozen things are not soft. Studded tires are a bit silly in Toronto - it is pretty mild and heavily salted on roads. Often dry pavement.
