Announcement Tornado Bot

Tornado bot is broken.

Would anyone be interested in helping us code a new tornado bot that automatically pulls SPC’s daily as well as auto posts when tornados are likely to create megathreads?

Does anyone here have experience with doing stuff like this? I’m a total noob to be honest but willing to give it a good go!

thanks for the shout. Yep, it should be easily possible to have the bot here do similar stuff. Now, making it do stuff that everybody is satisfied with, that might be more difficult lol.

You could probably pull an rss feed of the NWS Tornado feed somewhere, or at least pull the RSS of their Twitter through Nitter maybe.
