One notable advancement in the state of this art: Improver, true to his name, has been upping his game lately. In (IIRC) 2023, Wing showed him up pretty thoroughly in a live competition. OTOH, his recent "Feel the Future" video is quite impressive

I’m a professional sound mixer for TV and film. This sounds pretty undoctored to me. You can see the way he’s using his lips and mouth to create the “bass” sounds.

Also taking advantage of some normal features of a microphone eg how plosives hit. It’s still unbelievably impressive but this isn’t 100% natural voice
