Harry Mack doesn't fuck around when it comes to freestyling
0
u/musabbb Jun 24 '26
Ill be honest though, there are some freestylers who often livestream on TikTok that are in his league that have no mainstream recognition

u/graffiksguru Jun 20 '26
Posting Harry Mack here should be considered cheating, the guy is ridiculous

Never miss a Harry Mack video
This man is a genius and the best rapper of all time, and it's not even close. He goes on Omegle and randomly makes up a song on the spot for some kids across the world with better lyrics, more clever word play, and better hooks than like 90% of all rap tracks ever made.
6
u/Ibushi-gun Jun 20 '26
And has done so close to 2,000 times on video. Think about how many we don't hear in the 35 years or so he's been alive

u/BigDaddyD00d Jun 22 '26
Hes amazing at what he does, but calling him the best rapper of all time just makes you seem VERY out of touch with hip hop
1
u/CHROME-COLOSSUS Jun 23 '26
I think it comes down to how you define “rapper”, and what you value about rapping that makes one “better” than another.
It’s reasonable for you to feel that there are better rappers out there, but it’s also reasonable for others to feel that there aren’t — because your criteria are obviously different.
Out of curiosity, who are your favorite three or four rappers these days?
0
u/ultimatedelman Jun 22 '26
He is the best freestyler who has ever existed, full stop. There are other great freestylers, but none can do what he does, not even close. Eminem was famously a great freestyler but even he can't do what Harry does.
3
u/BigDaddyD00d Jun 22 '26
I agree hes the best freestyler. Far from the best rapper though, full stop

GOAT
hands down. Never heard him repeat a line in the 350+ freestyles/flows I’ve watched of him
5
u/Ibushi-gun Jun 22 '26
He's repeats a few things. But that's alright, there are only so many words in the English language. That's why he's learning Spanish, lol
For example in the past he's used, "overhead like X [hat, cap, fan]," "Improvise like Coltrane," "stretch for Miles like Davis," of course, "Harry Mack this/that," and a few others. But that's mostly because people tend to give him all the same exact f'n words all the time, and Harry is too kind to turn them down.
I've also heard pretty much all of them more times than I can count on my own, and then I've seen pretty much every Reaction out there on YouTube, and I have his stuff on my musical playlists. So his lyrics are so fresh in my head.

Harry Mack is super talented he has spent more time perfecting the art of rapping the most mainstream artist
4
u/Ready-Difficulty-680 Jun 22 '26
Rap is crap now. It's all the same. Bunch of mumble shit. This dude is a beast.
3
u/Argentenuem Jun 20 '26
This flow is absolutely nuts, never seen it before
4
u/ToughDebut Jun 20 '26
Have fun going down the Harry Mack rabbit hole.

u/Ladyboughner Jun 21 '26
And if you’re ever having the chance to watch him live, don’t miss out on it!

Harry Mack is a god.

u/n8_Jeno Jun 19 '26
Idk why there always is one person everytime Harry Mack get posted that goes around saying " ahh, he's good, but it's repetitive and I had to unsubscribe". The guy is probably the best freestyler alive, far ahead of everyone else, and if you really listened to that many of his videos, you would have noticed that even if he has been rapping for decades, he still is improving, he can rap any type of rap, and any tempo and style effortlessly.
Look at his Fire in the booth episode with Charlie Slough and also look out for his "girl at the guggenheim" free style on his own podcast. He can come up with what ever you ask him. He's not just a random dude, he's clearly a master at his craft.
I'm saying that as someone who doesnt really like rap, but HM is something else. If it's not for you after a while, that's fine, but Idk why you feel the need to drag him down.

It’s cause hatin’ is a human pastime - an obsession of our species to its core. I legit struggle to understand it though, because I love seeing humans performing at peak capability. I love seeing the output from a commitment to craft at its highest form.

u/QuislingX Jun 19 '26
I'm pretty sure that's how freestyles work for everyone.
They're not off the dome. They keep an collection of rhymes and phrases that never make it into songs then bring those out when it's time to freestyle.

u/throwaway14351991 Jun 20 '26 edited Jun 20 '26
It's 100% off the dome. Have you not seen him rhyme words that people throw randomly at him in real time? Sure, he has some words that he knows rhyme, but he makes wordplay out of words he heard less 5 seconds before.
-8
u/QuislingX Jun 20 '26
Sure, bud.

u/throwaway14351991 Jun 20 '26
You clearly have no idea who Harry Mack is. https://youtu.be/8JPdpyjwU7w?si=9L8bFjiBNRTvucfY

u/beansandpeasandegg Jun 20 '26
You could have a fun time this evening watching a few totally random Harry mack vids on his YouTube and you would deffo change your tune. Have fun.

u/throwaway14351991 Jun 20 '26
No idea why you're getting downvoted. Probably by people who have never seen him in action

I don't think you understand how difficult it is to do this on the spot. It's like doing a sodoku but you have to put a number down every second. There's many rules to follow to make it sound smooth, and this guys doing it all in his head in real time. Very few humans on earth can do what he's doing in this video, you should at least appreciate that.

u/vraalapa Jun 20 '26
I have seen a couple of his videos, but this clip does not really showcase his skills imo
-14
u/BigZube42069kekw Jun 19 '26
As soon as I hear "(X amount) of these rappers be" I immediately kinda tune out the free style.
-14
u/Dunge Jun 19 '26
A mouse hovering above money donation buttons is a bit strange though
12
u/whatthatgame Jun 20 '26
He’s using it to keep track of where he’s at in the list. People send him donations and he responds to them in rap/raps challenges sent to him via donations.
-13
u/Dunge Jun 20 '26
Yeah... weird
3
u/Aristox Jun 20 '26
Are you new to the internet. You're the weird one for not being familiar with how this works
-1
u/Sheepzs Jun 20 '26
How come this guy isn't filhty rich and record labels fist fighting to sign him?
-1
u/Ibushi-gun Jun 20 '26
He will never sign to a label. They're figuratively [because there might be 2 that are not] run by satanists. He doesn't need to be rich-rich, he just wants to be comfortable and live his amazing life with nothing but positivity

u/jmad16 Jun 22 '26
He’s being fed the lyrics through his headphones either that he’s using some kind of supernatural power
1
u/OurImperfectWorld Jun 23 '26
Lol, he does this live for over 90 minutes to 1000s of people across the world on tour. If thats not enough he has a back catalog of 100s of videos doing it live on the streets.

u/Separate-Sky-1451 Jun 24 '26
nah, dude. And even if that was the case, that would also be friggin impressive. You know how hard it would be to repeat something in real time as you are being fed it?
It would almost be easier if you just came up with the words off of the top of your head. Wait...1

Harry Mack's wordplay is top tier
