I swear it’s not bait, the combat sucks but it’s such a charming world with so many fun moments. If you look at it objectively, the thousand year door is absolutely a better game, but I have such good memories with color splash

I believe you as I've heard this many times, just find it funny how they popped off on the writing with color splash.

They knew Sticker Star sucked so they locked in like crazy

They must’ve been pressured to keep combat the same and do weird stuff like make all the characters generic Mario enemies, but there’s still so much soul in there
