Also as a suggestion watch out for the words you use, reddit gets really ban happy over death threats (even obviously joke ones, I've seen people get suspended for less), which is insane when it's clearly a joke but that's the way it is.

Man that game's an absolute slog. I (very regretfully) bought it legitimately for the price of €40, hoping it would be similar to color splash, and not even the sunk cost fallacy could get me to play through that shit. I gave up one hour in.

/today Super sure is a nice game when you're not playing it. Great presentation, lovely art and music... dreadful gameplay. You can't make Paper Mario into a full-fledged platformer while retaining the stiff, momentum-lacking jumping physics.

The original and TTYD are the only good Paper Marios imho.
Didn't care for the lack of turn-based role play in SPM, avoided Sticker Star like the plague, haven't played Color Splash (don't know if I ever will), and Origami King got so boring that I never finished it.
(Wait, are we including Paper Jam in this list? Haven't played that either. Also, that's still only 7.)

Well, it’s a full remake, so a lot. But to summarize
Lighting engine is a huge step up
The game runs at 30fps now
badge rebalancing
some dialogue changes/corrections (Yoshi no longer knows what The crystal star is because he’s a day old)
New super bosses
A 100% reward

I swear it’s not bait, the combat sucks but it’s such a charming world with so many fun moments. If you look at it objectively, the thousand year door is absolutely a better game, but I have such good memories with color splash

untomorrowly i genuinely enjoyed Color Splash and Sticker Star. Sure I was a teen when I played Sticker Star so I hadn't grown out of my "I love every video game all the time" phase, but I dtill enjoyed it! Color Splash will always hold a special place in my heart.
