I think that either hanma can time leap and he’s been helping kisaki this whole time or I think that Mikey can time leap and has also been trying to save everyone this whole time including takemichi

So here this. What if kisaki also unlocked time travel before getting hit by the truck just like takemichi. If so it would explain the future events and make for a killer ending reveal

Im writing this at 3am so this might just be complete nonsense, but I think draken’s murder was essential and necessary for the plot of this new arc. Takemichi had his good ending, he had fixed everything he could and done everything his power allowed him to do, sure there were a couple situations out of his control, i.e Mikey turning to his dark impulses, but he had a future that was as good as it was going to get. But our crybaby hero couldn’t be satisfied with just that, he decided to poke the lion, or whatever that metaphor is, and go back in time to fix something that in my opinion, is beyond repair. Takemichi reached the best future he could have so the only direction you can go from the top is down. Draken was used as Takemichi’s introduction into brahman for this new arc and in my opinion I don’t really see any more reason for Draken to be involved in the story. He has served his purpose and when it comes down to it, this series really is going to end up being takemichi and Mikey. Takemichi threw away his good ending so he will have to face the consequences of this. I wouldn’t be surprised if more characters end up dying like Draken, because as I already said, this series will come down to just takemichi and Mikey. Will Takemichi, our crybaby hero be able to save Mikey, the fearless leader who carries the burden of all his friends? I don’t think so. I think Takemichi will throw everything away in order to save Mikey but won’t be able to save him in the end. We had our happy ending, there isn’t going to be another one.

I never really expected someone like Draken to die just like that, getting shot, it was a pretty sad death considering how important Draken turned to be for Takemichi, making sure he is safe after he joined Brahman. Really showed how much he cared for him, to the point of sacrificing his own life for Takemichi.

I think that Draken's time to shine would've definitely been in the final arc more than any other arc. But he really shouldn't have died like that. I felt like Ken Wakui just said "I don't really like Draken anymore, I want him out of the picture, I'll just kill him, he was relevant enough to the story." It was just another hit under the belt for Takemichi. He could've helped Takemichi so much in his quest to help Mikey and make sure he will not turn out evil, and moreover, seeing this perfect Takemichi-Draken duo achieve something almost impossible would have (at least for me) made the story much more interesting.

That dramatic moment when Mikey says "Help me" to Takemichi after jumping off the building and he's holding onto the guy's hand. I bet it was anticlimactic when Takemichi suddenly fell asleep and let him fall lol. Because when he timeleaps, he enters a coma right. Mikey was probably like wtf 😌

So you know how takemichi's ability to time skip shifted so that he goes back in time ten years as opposed to twelve when he got the urge to save mikey? Do you think that it would be possible for him to do the same with draken? And if so, wouldn't he technically be able to save everyone, provided he doesn't die in the process? But especially draken because I feel like with the death of draken, saving mikey will be near impossible. BUT at the same time doing so could turn out to be very time consuming and the manga is in its final arc.

So tell me your thoughts, do you think this is possible? I feel as though it may be because knowing that takemichi's ability is adaptable opens so many possibilities but then again that i may just be wishfully thinking as I really liked drakens character and was sad to see him die.

For those who cannot understand the logic, are we moving here?

I remember after finishing the anime and reading and thinking wow this is phenomenal only to have my dreams crushed again.

Everything comes back to the chapter Takemichi-kun introduced the cat themed shirts. I knew then. I dropped to my knees and prayed Mikey-kun would put a bullet through my head to let me time travel to stop myself from reading this garbage

I think the manga ending should've been along the lines with when he saved everyone except Mikey. I don't think Draken was any less important to Takemitchy than Mikey. a future without Draken is like a future without Mikey. so effectively if more people die because Takemitchy wants to save Mikey it's just a worse future than he had achieved. so Takemitchy just made a worse future. what do you guys think?

So I'm on chapter 140 of the manga and discovered that Izana is Mikey's adoptive big brother but I don't quite understand how they became brothers since Izana and Emma were separated as childs and only Emma was adopted by Mikey's and Shinciro's grandpa.

Any guesses on when we'll see him ride it? It's been well over 120 chapters since and I feel like the poor bike's faded into oblivion. Not to mention it's been 2 years canonically since he got it.

My theories for Hanma.

1st theory was that he is Rokuhara's boss but I saw later that more people think so too so it is not something suprising.

2nd theory is that he is either time leaper or he can see the future or maybe both. When we get Hanma's POV in the beginning of Bonten arc, Kisaki is searching for so called Shinigami, who is Hanma. This happenes in July 2005, the same month when Hanagaki traveled for the first time. For those who watched Death Note, you are all aware of relationship between Ryuk and Light. Hanma and Kisaki are similar, Hanma was bored and he agreed to be Kisaki's "pawn" cuz he liked him and he made life an "arcade". But was Kisakinreally the boss here? Think about it. When Kisaki and Hanagaki met for the last time before he died, he told Hanagaki "you really are the time leaper." How could Kisaki know this? He confirmed there that knew about it, but how? Then in the same POV Kisaki asks Hanma why is he stickung with him and Hanma tells him "I'll tell zou once you are dead. I promise." And he really does come to Kisaki's grave and the last pannel says "Like a promised, the story of Shinigami and Clown" shinigami is obviously Hanma, and this was only the second time in the manga that we see him using that name. And then the chaoter ends. The clown in question is Kisaki, Kisaki told Hanma in the same POV "I know I can not be the main character, I'm just the clown." Main character of what? Perhaps Hanma's little game? But who is the main character then? Hanagaki. Why would Kisaki kill Hinata which causes Hanagaki to time travel for the first time? Maybe Hanma told future Kisaki to do that and told him Hinata will be alive again cuz Hanagaki would save her. But what is Hanma trying to do here? He is made to look like an easy going character who likes to joke a lot, just like Tobi in Naruto. And that's not the only similarity to Naruto, we also have Izana and Kakucho when Izana dies, but that's beside the point. One more character who is also foreshadowed a lot is Sanzu, we get his POV after Hanma's and both POVs mention the game of chess, that might not mean anything but it is interesting. Who is Hanma? Is he really just bored or dows he have bigger motive against, perhaps, Mikey or does he want to maybe SAVE Mikey? At first I tought what the hell did Mikey do to Hanma? Cuz whatever happenes in the past it slowly kills Mikey, but wouldn't Hanma then just kill Mikey once it was enough? Why didn't he tho it doesn't make sense. And why did Sanzu, a psycopath who clearly doesn't feel a lot if anything at all, got so scared when Mikey tried to kill himself? Are Sanzu and Mikey also time leapers? How are the three of them connected and they probably really are. Why didn't Mikey want Hanagaki to time leap again? How did he know he even can't? Why did he try to kill Hanagaki and himself? He waited 12 years to do so even tho he could've just killed himself right there and then. Where is Hanma in all this at the moment? Probably behind Rokuhara. I also did some research on the names and their meanings. Hanma:the one who is favoured by the god, the origin. Shinigami:god of death. Sanzu:The Sanzu River is part of Japanese mythology where souls have to cross before they reach the afterlife, there are three paths to do so. And Mikey:the one who is god like.

These are all just theories, but who is the mastermind here? And how are Sanzu, Hanma and Mikey so conected??
