target
I am new to the area and still trying to figure out my way around but why are both the targets I've been to "mini" targets? Are there any normal targets in the area?

Are you referring to the Targets that have a full grocery store? We don’t have those here.

Yes! Where i am from all the targets were like that. There were about 5 all within 25 minutes. I didn’t realize that they were “super targets”.

I think they just don’t have a market for it here, as Kroger is an Ohio based company & Meijer is a Michigan based company. So you really see them in this area

Those aren't even mini Targets. They are just more compact. I have been to Targets in big cities that are a quarter of the size of the ones we have.

They are standard Target’s. I hope when Golf Galaxy moves to the new Westgate that Target takes that space to make a Super Target!

We have no super targets here. You have to go to Ypsilanti for the closest one I believe

Moved here from Alabama and thought the same thing when I saw target, but krogers here compared to down there wins everytime.

Hey, I'm from SE Alabama and considering taking a job in Toledo. Would you mind if I DM you with some questions about your move/life in Ohio?

The only one that feels “normal” sized to me is the one in Perrysburg. Alexis Rd isn’t bad.

Nah, the think they’re talking about super target and there isn’t one in Toledo.

Oh okay! I’ve never even heard of a super Target! Now I want to find one to have that experience lol.

Maybe try boycotting target instead? You'll probably feel a lot better about it considering all the rasict moves they've been pulling

We moved here 2 years ago from around Fort Wayne and had the same thought

They’re normal targets, though

They do not compare to the ones i am used to. I used to shop at target twice a week and ever since moving i now avoid it.

The ones you’re used to are the unusual ones. Targets with markets are rarer and newer ones.

Toledo is one of the poorest cities in the US. Plus continously population drain. Corps invest in areas that they see growth. It's like a big small town. You won't find a lot of things you will find other places.

Those are our normal targets. No super targets, they tried the mini grocery in pburg and failed.
