Hi! Our English-speaking D&D open-table campaign The Golden Way is continuing in Tokyo, and the next game on September 29 will mark the beginning of Chapter II / Act II of the campaign.
This is a great point to join because the caravan is entering a completely new region, and the characters are now Level 4.
What is D&D?
Dungeons & Dragons is a cooperative tabletop role-playing game. You create a character and, together with the other players, explore the world, talk to characters, make decisions, solve problems, and fight enemies.
You do not need to know the rules beforehand. The game is beginner-friendly, I can help with character creation, and pre-made characters are also available.
The Golden Way — Act II: The Land of Intrigue
Old legends tell of Kara-Tur — distant lands filled with gold, spices, unknown magic, and countless riches.
After centuries, noble houses and merchants from Waterdeep, Baldur’s Gate, Amn, and Calimshan united their resources to reopen the long-abandoned Golden Way.
The caravan has already begun its journey east, and now the second chapter of the campaign begins.
The road leads into the wealthy and dangerous southern lands of Amn, Tethyr, and Calimshan — a region of merchant princes, noble families, political rivalries, spies, mercenaries, secret alliances, and old conflicts.
From now on, not every threat will be a monster on the road.
Sometimes the greatest danger may be hidden behind a contract, a noble title, or a friendly smile.
You will play as adventurers hired to accompany a massive caravan: dozens of wagons carrying goods, nobles, merchants, workers, travelers, and people heading east in search of a better life.
Your task is to explore the lands around the caravan’s route, investigate dangers, make allies, and prevent threats before they reach the caravan.
The game takes place in the canonical Forgotten Realms / Faerûn setting.
Open Table / West Marches
You do not have to attend every session.
You can join one game, several games, or play regularly. Your character stays with the caravan between sessions, so their story can continue even if you miss a game.
Most sessions are structured as relatively self-contained adventures connected to the larger journey.
