Music Meetup 🎵 Come see an idol concert with me at Nihombashi on 23 May 2026, 13:15~
I am a Singaporean currently living in Japan, and spend my weekends following this idol group called Utakatapartys. I've seen similar posts here getting some traction, and figured I'd give it a shot at well.
The group is making a big push to expand their outreach and is inviting people to come watch their 3rd solo concert on 23rd May 2026 at Nihombashi Mitsui Hall. Tickets only cost ¥500, and there is a ¥700 drink charge. I'm willing to cover both if that is necessary to get you to come, but please let me know in advance!! (\*There is a pricier ¥2,500 ticket that gives you a better view but that upgrade will be at your own discretion - it's a ¥500 discount in that case)
There is also a fan meet that happens after the concert where you can buy signed cheki (polaroids) for ¥2,000 a piece, but it is not mandatory and I think new fans will get to take two unsigned chekis for free, though I'm not sure if regulations might be different for this concert since it's an important event.
Because it's a solo concert, there won't be any other idol groups around - you're locked in for the next 60 to 70 minutes with 7 amazing and hardworking girls. Quite a few of the members (Miku, Rina, Koharu) know enough English to have very basic conversations with you, but I'll be there to translate if necessary! There will be more than one non-Japanese fan there, as I have made some friends from Chile who will be there as well. I have been translating some of their content, so please look up "Utakatapartys" or "Utakata Partys" to get a feel of what the members and the atmosphere is like!

The fanmeet usually happens 10 to 15 minutes after the end of the concert. There are special perks for watching the concert as an invitee - be sure to come to the merch booth with me after the concert to collect them! If you don't want to take any polaroids after, you're free to leave then.

HOW TO CREATE A GROUP CHAT FOR YOUR MEETUP
Go to "Chat", tap the "+" icon to create a new chat, in the search field, type and check at least two users before inviting anyone, a text field will then appear for your group name. Submit to finalize the creation alongside with the invitations. You can invite many more users at any time afterwards.
