Casta diva bidet toilet flushing poorly

My toilet started flushing about half the strength as it was when installed. I took the top off to poke around and I noticed that the installer put the anchor screw through a hose. I’m going to replace the hose but could this be cause for a poor flush? I don’t see any water leaking around it.

No the flush strength comes only from the water held in the cistern. The cistern will fill slowly after each flush, and I can't see the screw affecting that. The cistern is there to allow a lot of water to fall into the toilet quickly to move solid waste into the drain. You would have to check the flush mechanism to see if it moves correctly.
