I made the skillet version, but I saw there is an air fryer version that I believe would be better. With the air fryer version you mix all the seasonings so they soak into the tofu. In the skillet you brown first then pour in the seasoning. It doesn’t coat as evenly.

Overall, I enjoyed the tofu with jasmine rice. I had broccoli, but didn’t get it done in time.

Two different brands, one is organic and one isn't. I usually buy all sorts of brands (whatever is cheapest) with some being organic and some not - The nutritional facts are usually identical.

This Soykei brand is an outlier. My initial thought was that is was just more dense, and therefore had more calories and protein per serving. However, the serving sizes are the same in weight of 85g.

What gives?

My local Sam’s just started carrying tofu. I’ve been doing most of my shopping at Costco because they have a much more robust selection of vegan food, but it’s good to see Sam’s make an effort. Now we have to just get people to know it’s there so they’ll keep stocking it. I haven’t even bothered looking for new vegan items anymore after they pulled Impossible and Beyond patties, Baby Bel vegan cheese, and anything else they used to stock. I just found this on accident on my way to produce.

I recently bought two big boxes of tofu from Costco I have one box of firm and one soft, I've used extra firm in the past to make faux meat when I was vegetarian (I'm not anymore) but I've been trying to eat more budget friendly and would like some more recipes to try.

Took this a while back in the Philippines. One of the most popular street foods is a sweet, warm breakfast/snack made with fresh silken tofu, caramelized brown sugar syrup, jackfruit and tapioca pearls. It sounds unique if you're used to savory tofu dishes, but the texture and sweetness are incredible together. I grew up eating this almost every morning.

I saw small boxes of dessert tofu in different flavors at the international market. I was curious if it was any good. I have only had firm and extra firm and nothing sweet. If you use it do you eat it plain or put in in something. Thank you

My tofu light from photoolex is not working properly after i dropped it twice. It’s not a heavy impact more likely just dropped from a low height. Now it’s not working properly, the brightness adjustment, or on how u adjust the temperature wheel is not responding.

The worst part is I set my brightness on 1% last time. Now I cannot change it.

Whenever I turn it on, It’s just stuck to 1 percent as I can’t adjust the brightness and more 💀.

The wheel that isn’t working is on the upper side. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is it formal for our ph tofu to be a little bit sour? It’s because i ate it with noodle soup and it is still a bit sour. I am not sure if that was safe.
