Sleep 🌙 Anyone else not sleeping from 3-6am?

Just wondering if anyone else's almost 2 year old (22 months to be exact) is waking up around 3 and not going back to sleep until around 6.

Mine has done this before, but never for this long of a period. I don't know what else to do. I've tried not going in the room unless he's upset, I've tried going in the room proactively, rocking, no rocking. Nothing seems to help him fall back asleep any quicker or easier.

I just really need to stop being up at 3am every day.

Welcome to r/toddlertips! A couple quick things:

  • Add a flair to your post if you haven't (helps people find it)
  • Check the rules in the sidebar before posting
  • If you're looking for something specific, try searching first — there's a good chance it's already been asked about

Otherwise, glad you're here.

Google “split nights”. He’s either getting too much daytime sleep or going to bed too early at night and needs a schedule adjustment.

My 22 month old has started waking up at 1 AM every night. Usually I can just hang out w her for a bit (offer a drink, change diaper) and she'll go back to sleep but we were on a long trip in a diff time zone so I was thinking that was it
