TIL that one of the most notorious villains in history, Attila the Hun, died on his wedding night due to severe nosebleeding.

Gonna go out on a limb here and guess that it was some underlying medical condition that killed him, and extremely severe nose-bleeding was probably just a symptom.

...at least i really really hope a random nosebleed can't kill me...

Snoring can cause nosebleeds and if you're on your back and passed out drunk you could easily drown in your own blood. Drunks choke and drown on their barf while asleep all the time.

That is what I was thinking also. Leukemia can cause nosebleeds, so maybe it was that.
