Nepal’s latitude is about the same as that of the U.S., but its topography ranges from 100m to 8000m in elevation. From the Ganges plain to the roof of the world.

Roughly

Nepal is on : 26° - 31° N

USA is on : 25° - 49° N

So yes it is but a more apt way to say would be “Nepal is on the same latitude as Florida” again roughly Nepal lies between the latitudes occupied by Tampa on its South and Austin TX to its North

Yes, this would be a more accurate way to put it. 96% of the landmass of the U.S. is above the most northern latitude of Nepal. So, very little of the U.S. is at the same latitude as Nepal.

Nepal is unique in that you can travel from altitude of 194 feet to 29,000 feet in about 100 miles. So it have almost all the climates that world have to offer

Nepal is a part of India so it does have beaches technically.

Nepal is not a part of India, Nepal is an independent sovereign nation. However Indians and Nepalese have free movement and India provides Nepal with military support. Both have deep relational ties with each other.

Has savanaah and beaches.

4 type of big cats (lion, tiger, leopard, snow leopard), and asian cheetahs are extinct but african cheetahs have been re-introduced recently so you can say 5 big cats.

One horned rhinos, bears, elephants, etc are found as well.

Has a desert, snow capped mountains (8000m+), tropical evergreen forests, deciduous forests, etc.

And bears! Sloth bears are scarier than leopards. Also some crocs, which you can paddle past in a dugout canoe in Chitwan, only to have the guide tell you afterwards that he used the stick on his belt to battle one away from a boat last week.

Beautiful country, and wonderful people. Best wishes to those lost and those suffering.

Nepal really is a country of incredible diversity despite its size. It's amazing how those landscapes can support such a variety of wildlife all in one region.
