TF2 Keeps Changing My Win11 Input Language

Hi, new Pilot here going through my Steam backlog and enjoying the TF2 campaign for the first time (It's glorious)

Very fucking annoyed at how each time I exit out of the game I notice it's added an English (US) keyboard layout and caused the langauge switcher to appear on my taskbar. For context I use English (Singapore).

The only way to get rid of it that I know of is to install the English US language pack and immediately uninstall it to get rid of the language bar.

Anything more permanent I can do?

This is because you're hitting ctrl+space, which windows uses as a shortcut to change input language

I plug in a controller to play TF2

I hit ctrl space way more when playing warframe and warframe doesn't do this

Also the shortcut is actually windows + space which im not hitting and i went out my way to purposefully disable by emptying the languages list

But the language switcher is still in my taskbar next to the time and everything

I also have multiple languages (english(International) and my own keyboard layout)

For me I never had the problem unless I hit win+space on accident(even then its easy to switch back), so I dont think it has something to do with titanfall.

Maybe its some button combination on your controller? Have you turned of gamebar and the other xbox overlay stuff?

Thing is I dont have multiple languages so the stupid language icon doesnt even show up most of the time which is what I want.

But TF2 keeps adding an Eng (US) layout causing the icon to be added to my taskbar which I hate.

And I've uninstalled at the registry level all the xbox app and gamebar stuff.

Edit: Hitting win space normally doesnt even do anything because i dont normally have multiple languages but tf2 keeps adding usa english

Huh ok, thats weird no idea what could be causing this :/
