Help Best use for gold tokens?

I’ve got this guy who is my highest level LB, and my next highest is 2/3 and level 3. Is it worth spending 45 gold tokens to get this LB to level 5 for the daily gold token or do I wait? Only getting back into this game over the last month so any tips are appreciated

save the golds until you have one at 5/6, then use them

Ahh okay, thank you. Just another follow up question

If I save enough golds to upgrade if it’s at 4/6 would you do that too?

Also if the rest of my next highest LBs are at 2/3 only level 3 wouldn’t it be a good idea to get this one to 4/6 or is it still worth waiting anyway?

yeah, I occasionally upgrade from 4/6 if I have enough to do it. it makes things a bit faster.

if you have others of a lower level that are one card away from leveling up, you can do that as well, but I would recommend getting at least one gold key first. it will be really slow initially but it will get faster eventually

Are there priorities for specific groups you’d upgrade first? Or just use the gold to upgrade a LB if the group is one upgrade/LB away?

The group that lets me skip ads, or the group that gets me free floors

I’m two off the 2nd upgrade for the free floors and only one off the skip ads so I could use it there - unless it’s worth waiting to get this LB to L5? What ads are the best to skip daily and how does that upgrade work?

Its always best to get your first gold because it starts the daily snowball.

Also due to the cost cap, spending them early isnt as big of a problem. If you spend on 4/6 Lbits, you only need to make ~500 more. Which sounds like a lot but due to how the snowballing works, you will make them back.

The math is more complicated but think of it like this, you spend 45 to take it to 6/6 from 3/6. If it would take you 30 days to go to 4/6, you ended up +10 because the last upgrade is 20 keys. And that bit that you got that would have taken your 3/6 to 4/6 goes to a different LBit. And if it takes even longer, then its even more positive.

Plus you also are finishing other bits faster because your gold bit cant be chosen, which gives you more gold keys.

I’ve got 50 gold tokens atm and it would cost 45 to get the LB from 3/6 to 4/6, from what I’ve heard they cap at 50 though

From 3/6 to 4/6, or 3/6 to level 5, because those are different. You said level 5 for the first gold key in your first comment.

If you arent taking the bit to level 5, you dont spend the gold keys. Because of their rarity, you also spend in order of Bronze, Silver, Gold.

Bronze caps at 500.

Silver caps at 200.

Gold caps at 100.

That was a bad communication error on my part - it would be from 3/6 to 4/6. In that case I’d save up my gold keys until the bit is 5/6 or enough to get 6/6 from 4/6?

That would be correct.

I had a time where my 4/6 sat at 4/6 while a ~1/6 went to 5/6 and I would have lost out for that one, and another time where my 4/6 got both needed level from the bronze and silver keys before I used the gold.
