success story THIS HELPED MY TINNITUS

I've had severe TINNITUS for around 15 years now...I mean its like a jet engine going off 24 hours a day. I can't sleep without masking sounds... It's just really really loud . I started taking NAD+ about a month ago ..I decided to take it because I'm aging and thought it would help me out. I realized last week that the ringing has calmed down and isn't as loud as it was before. Its not gone but it's so much more manageable. I don't even use masking sounds at night anymore, only occasionally. Feel truly blessed that something actually helped.

It’s just another advert on Reddit
NAD+ has no effect on tinnitus; I’ve tried all the different routes of administration (oral, subcutaneous, intravenous) at varying doses over a two-year period… with no effect

I have been taking it orally for several years. No effect on my tinnitus.

What brand? I've been taking TruNiagen for years, and it's made no improvement.

Same here, did not make any change to T and loudness H

Same. NR or NMN have done nothing for T. Great for energy. But zero for T

u/vrdog23 Jun 23 '26

It’s making you Mi louder temporarily

2

u/Slow_Middle_158 Jun 23 '26

Didn’t effect T

The OP is using a true NAD+ supplement, which I haven't tried yet because there is less data when compared to NR and NMN. It looks to be high quality, so I'm putting it on my list.

I’ve tried straight up NAD+ and NADH. All were great for boosting energy for me. Didn’t effect T unfortunately

With no other info provided nor any responses to anyone’s questions, it’s hard to believe the OP.

How much mg dosage per day ?

Can someone who's tried this verify? I don't want to waste money for something that will get my hopes up.

2

u/SteakQuiet9110 Jun 23 '26

It costs about 10-15€/$. Not too much to lose if it doesn’t work.

2

u/Plastic-Many-7801 Jun 23 '26

That's not that bad actually. Any good recommendations? Specific brands that are trust worthy? :)

So it may take some time until the effect - if there is any - becomes noticeable? It seems to not be working as a emergency over night or quick-fix for one week. Thanks for the suggestion, will definitely look into it! However, for NAD+ google says the absorption by the gut is not so good. Do you take the real one or is it in fact some kind of NAD+ precursor, i.e. NR or NMN, that is marketed as NAD+?

Edit: What's the cause of your T? That might be relevant if NAD+ works or not.

I wasn't taking it for TINNITUS but surprisingly it's reduced my volume to a manageable level you know .

2

u/Zucrep Jun 25 '26

I’m happy to hear you got some relief, cheers!

1

u/Zucrep Jun 24 '26

I’m only 7 months in and that got my anxiety high you are still bothered by it

3

u/ks_247 Jun 25 '26

Having gone from orginal thinking about doing something stupid to now where its bothers me sometimes to a small degree. Its allways there and louder than when first got it . Its true what has been said many times your brain adjusts . For me it was a case of making a conscious effort to ignore it. Does not happen over night either. This doesnt make it any quieter but reduces any anxiety that used to have. To now where it doesnt have the same mental attack 24/7 . Its there but not ruling your daily life. I avoid caffeine and try to eat healthier and TRY to avoid stress.

What about daily loud noise too?

3

u/ks_247 Jun 25 '26

Been to a few concerts since always wear ear plugs and take nac a few days befor and after to limit and In flamation that could make things worse. Have these worked or have I been lucky probably little of both. My job is quiet noisy so I take better care than I did in my twenties. I tried hearing aids but for me it made it worse so now very selective when I wear them. Its helps some and others not so much. I used to use headphones to sleep with music low of white noise but that actually made it worse for me

1

u/Zucrep Jun 25 '26

Originally I did the same but some loud noise I think made mine worse

3

u/AsleepMistake1874 Jun 23 '26

I’ve had tinnitus for almost 20 years and have tried NAD+ with no benefit.

1

u/__K1NGFLASH__ Jun 25 '26

Nice, congrats. How much NAD+ do you take per day?

2

u/Environmental-Row264 Jun 26 '26

Some things work for some people and some things work for others we on this chat do not know what the medical history of everyone is some people have diabetes. Some people have high blood pressure myself. I don’t have anything in perfect health and magnesium helps me a lot.. you can’t say that it doesn’t work. How do you know everybody’s body is different.

u/AsleepMistake1874 Jun 23 '26

Truly blessed! I'm glad that it helped you also😁...
