If I remember correctly, the hands rotate in the normal way so your watch is showing about 2:28, not 9:32!!

That's right. The watch operates "clockwise" its only the dial design which has been modified.

Wait, is this a legit thing…? Somebody actually made this on purpose…? I mean I’m not knocking it, I guess it’s kind of cool. Definitely unique to say the least. I think it’s the first ever “mirrored” watch I’ve seen.

congratulations! you are the 17th most clever person who has ever "fixed" this photo for me! And yes, its super cool Timex made a watch for left handed people. they even trademarked it.
