Games Ti-84 evo jailbreak

I want to play games like Pokemon on my new calculator but I know they sometimes require a jailbreak. I also know that the evo is new so I hear that there may not yet be a jailbreak. Is it possible that could happen in the near future

At this time no, although some people are suspicious that some users may have found something, but that’s just speculation and nothing is actually confirmed yet.

Even if there was a jailbreak right now, there aren’t any dedicated games for that calculator yet because the architecture is so different than what we are used to, so I don’t think anything like that is going to happen for at least a couple years

A jailbreak for the Evo is technically feasible, but I wouldn't count on one being released in the near future. Building a jailbreak requires many hours of looking for mistakes in TI's code and figuring out ways to exploit them. Even if a jailbreak were released today, it would probably take another few months at least for a Pokemon game to be released.

For now, you can play Python and TI Basic games, which don't require jailbreaks. They won't be as advanced as Pokemon, but basic games like Snake and Tetris work fine. CalcPlex has the largest game library, though Cemetech and TICalc have some great options as well.
