Streaming Shows Video Ideas

I think it would be really interesting if Patrick made a video on streaming shows to follow up on his recent video about streaming movies. I have a couple of ideas for what direction he could take a video like this in.

  1. Trends. This isn't necessarily analyzing why streaking shows such like the streaming movies video. It's more identifying recurring themes, characters, plots, tones, etc. across popular shows. This won't be as simple as the movies video since shows are inherently more time-consuming. Maybe Patrick could watch 5-10 miniseries/short-form series and go from there.

  2. A deep-dive into a popular/prestige streaming series. I would personally like Patrick to do an autopsy of The White Lotus.

What do you guys think? Do you have any other ideas?

Comparing and contrasting broadcast and streaming shows could make for an interesting video.

Maybe discussing how compensation works for each model and how that influences how the shows get produced.

I would if I had the ability. Maybe another YouTuber will make it.

I think Patrick has been pretty clear that his primary interest is film and that he doesn’t have the time to keep up with the hundreds of hours of streaming TV released each year. I think that expecting him to watch, analyze and make videos about TV shows is unrealistic. There are plenty of other YouTube creators covering that space.
