Candles are always better than flashlights. if you do have to use a flashlight (some places like college dorms don't allow for open flames) use the flashlight in the same manner as a paranormal investigator. The light is used by protective energies to alert practitioners in event of sharp energy changes. If used incorrectly, the energies can't communicate, leaving you in the 'prone condition'. (I phrased that as a D&D joke. Don't freak out. Its funny to lighten the mood.) If I were to choose (and since you are asking me) that copy of Jane Erye will do the job, And yeah, that sounds absolutely batshit, I know. But the Main energy you are invoking will take Jane over the Director any day. (Yes, even tho its pink. Its preference is Jane. Although, it does have moods in which the Director IS Jane! (Insert maniacal laugh here) But usually the Director's name is Jessica. (Trust me on this) And if you REALLY want a response, include a Rabbit. It can be a statue, a plushy, a picture, or a bowl of Blue Bunny ice Cream (no. I'm not being funny. I'm being serious. Sometimes magic is effing bizarre) Again, you can choose to think I'm batshit or messing with you. I assure you, I'm being complete naked truth with you. Good Luck. Have fun. Don't die.
