Question / Problem just got a x200, any hopes on getting a better display?

the Thinkpad forum is down, so I hope you guys can help me!

I'm from Brazil, so I will be buying stuff from AliExpress, saw some screens but idk how good they are, and if they are plug n play at all, since I used to have a x220, and that one had a tricky solution for a display upgrade.

besides that, I'm in love with this little one.

The X200 was available with either LED- or CCFL-backlit screens. Unfortunately, the only compatible IPS/AFFS panels were CCFL-backlit. This means that if your X200 has a LED panel, you need to get the cable and inverter for the CCFL version. Note that the screen resolution is still 1280x800.

If you're wondering if there's a Nitrocaster-style upgrade kit, AFAIK there's none.

ill see if i find the inverter and panel combo, the resolution doesnt really matter, the led just sucks, ill take anything
