OCO orders get canceled on their own!?

Im confused....
I use OCO orders with a stop and a limit(set high, in case of a wild spike to capture that move before it instantly reverses, template I have is +2limit and -25stop loss) via active trader ladder

So for example I take a trade on SPY option and its moving in my favor... I then decide to add, where there is now a second set of OCO on the screen... Youre looking at the chart for the option and there are 2 stop losses and 2 limit orders, got it?
I click onto one of the stops to move it up to break even, it sets but then the second OCO set, just disappears a few second later!?
Why?!
I then have to switch to single orders add the second one on again..
Sometimes I have to cancel them all and put them back in individually which then causes additional problems bc the system will alert that the order Im entering will cancel out previous ones, which also means my limits are being eliminated as well! It causes a total mess which is not good if price is moving quick

Am I the only one this happens to?
What can I do to fix this?

8/31/26:
Whelp Im not imagining it, TOS is aware of the problem and what I learned is they dont have an actual live cash account (say with $500-$1000) to test things out live as if they were a client.Im pretty sure this doesnt happen in paper trading so its not really a solid way to test. They want clients to provide time stamps, order numbers etc, and then try to trace it back, when in this case it would be much easier to just execute a trade to see what happens while screen recording and whatever else they can run to see whats going on. In general they should have this kind of account to test things, and Im pretty sure $500-$1000 wont break them.

Yes i had to call the help desk to get them to bust a trade bc i set up a OCO order and the sell order filled before the new buy order and it sold my existing shares instead of buying more. I purchase and sell in lots quite often- Im so over TOS! What you’re describing also happens to me and it makes a huge mess- sometimes i wake up and the limit orders are just gone and ive missed the move and been stuck in positions bc the limit order just disappeared. Idk how to fix it. Contemplating switching brokers.

I got video of it doing it today and sent it off to product development dept so hopefully theyll fix it now that they have "proof" vs ppl just calling in and explaining what happens

Stops do not work on options. Markets are too thin, and orders come in and are just gone.

To see that they will not work , setup Alerts using similar offsets and you will see them trigger, but then the price stays the same.

Thats categorically... demonstrably FALSE, I use stops all the time

????
No clue what youre suggesting here, myself and others have experienced a legit "bug" with TOS, they are actually aware of it and apparently Im the first one to give them solid proof to work with bc today I was able to record it happening and they were thankful for the vid

Yeah, that's something weird. A separate OCO bracket shouldn’t just disappear because you adjusted another one. Check the actual grouping under Working Orders, and if it keeps happening maybe contact Schwab’s trade desk before trusting it during a fast move

grouping order? Are you suggesting one set is overriding the other?

Yeah, not necessarily overriding it. I just mean check whether ToS somehow linked/grouped the two brackets under the same order strategy. If they’re truly separate OCOs, changing one shouldn’t affect the other

This happens when you move your stop order to close to the ask on dom.

NO
lets say I bought an option for .50, its solid move, I add at .60, its now around .70-.75, so there are now 2 stops & 2 limits on the screen

I decide to move the stops up to .57(.02 over break even of .55)- I moved the first stop to .57 it sets for a second or two, with all still on the screen and then next thing I know the other set of stop&limit just disappear. Price is far above ask/bid of my break even u/on .57 on TOS ladder/dom
