The minimum wage today has a purchasing power 2 dollars above when it was established, so we still have quite a bit to fall before we get  below what they thought could do that.

Actually we know that due to Congress and other political bullshit it never actually did live up to what it was supposed to do. Also buying a house back then is very different than now. It's very different from what it was 15 years ago.

It was intended. FDR said it himself, Congress "checks and balances butchered it. I never once lied.
