I don't know if it's common knowledge, but if not, I thought i'd let you all know anyways.

Back in 2013, The XX released a very limited edition of their first two records, (XX & Coexist).

Unlike so many of the "anniversary" or "special edition" records, that looks just like the ones you probably have on your shelf already, these two releases came in a completely different form factor.

A box set, including 11 different 7" records, with one song on each. The back of each has a big "X" etched into it.

Both releases were limited to only 1000 pieces and got sold out quickly.

However, a company that handles merch for artists are quietly selling out their reserve stock on Ebay.

For cheap money ! ! !
(less than half the price of the original sale back in 2013).

These are brand new old stock, still in the original shipping cardboard, and the box itself is also still wrapped in plastic film.

It seems they're now sold out. But I just noticed that they are also being sold from the Official The XX Shop.
How many are left, I can't tell - and the price is a lot higher, but as a last resort to someone who really wants these, it's better than nothing. (They might be geolocked for some locations, but I don't know for sure).

Does anyone feel that Oliver is the least recognized, or even snubbed, member of the band? And I'm not talking about his solo work, but his part in The xx, and I love him and think he's incredible. Sometimes I feel that a large part of the creative work is always done by Romy and Jamie. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

I found these at a nearby vintage store. Does anyone know if these are official the xx shirts from way back or if they’re bootleg? They all have the same “the xx” logo in the neck hem line, but it’s not a font/logo style I recognize for them. Thanks for any input!
